When selecting an emergency and exit lighting solution a critical part of the process is to consider the luminaire operating life and the desired compliance testing method. These two choices will have a massive impact on the cost and ultimately the ongoing effectiveness of the life safety system that is installed.
Luminaire Operating Life - An inferior battery, luminaire design or componentry will create a burden of the cost to keep the emergency lighting system in safe operating order in the event it is required. The use of old battery technology like Nicd and MiMH is now a thing of the past. To release this burden of cost Clevertronics developed two world leading Lithium Iron Phospate powered emergency lighting ranges to improve reliability and create massive cost savings on maintenance and replacement of luminaires.
The Clevertronics LP range will deliver 50% maintenance savings compared to alternatives and the L10 Nanophosphate range will provide 80%+ maintenance savings.
Testing and Compliance - If you combine long-life emergency and exit luminaires with an automatic monitoring and testing system that is simple to install, commission, operate and has a lifetime support program attached you will not only be saving money, you will be satisfied that your emergency lighting compliance issues are a thing of the past. Clevertest Plus self-testing luminaires provide an alternative for projects where a lower upfront cost is required and compliance and testing requirements are easily managed on-site.
